COVID STATEMENT

  • From Friday 10 December 2021, face coverings are legally required in most public indoor venues, including public areas of hotels and guest accommodation facilities. We have carried out a Covid Risk Assessment by law. To meet the requirements, the following are still in place and should be read as it forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Thank you
  • Please use the hand sanitisers provided. These are in the porch (when you enter), by the fridge in the lounge and in the hallway (entering and leaving breakfast room). We ask all guests, like us, to wash hands on a regular thorough basis, to reduce the possibility of transmission, as does use of the sanitisers.
  • We have our QR code in the hallway for you to scan if you have downloaded the ‘Track and Trace’ APP.
  • The Govt has asked businesses to encourage people to wear a face covering in indoor or crowded spaces where they may come into contact with people they do not normally meet. We understand that some people are exempt from wearing masks and they are also not required when dining.
  • Upstairs rooms have an Envirovent air input system installed which brings in filtered air from outside, improving air quality and ventilation. All rooms have opening windows and we will open the window in the breakfast room and the downstairs bedroom during cleaning.
  • Cleaning of rooms during your stay: We ask you to leave the room tidy when you go out, we will not be moving any items left on the floor. We will empty the bins, freshen the hospitality tray and thoroughly wipe around in the en-suite, door handles and surfaces with anti-bacterial, anti-viral cleaner. We will wear and correctly dispose of gloves.
  • We will regularly clean surfaces and touch-points including breakfast cereal jars, handrails, door handles and fridges etc.
  • Breakfast is served in the dining room at a pre-arranged time and menu.
  • Payment of your balance – On arrival, payment will be taken from your card that you used to pay your deposit, so that you do not need to touch the card payment machine. We will let you know when this has been done.
  • As per Government guidelines, if you have been suffering from symptoms of Covid-19 within 2 weeks of your stay here, or develop symptoms during your stay, we must ask you to leave our guest accommodation and return home to isolate. This also applies if you receive a Track and Trace call. We will not be able to refund payment, this is for your safety, other guests and ourselves. As per legislation, we are required to assist the NHS Track & Trace by keeping a record of your name and phone number for 21 days.
  • In order to meet cleaning and social distancing requirements, we request that you adhere to times arranged for your arrival, breakfast and check out (10am) – thank you.
  • We would like to reassure you that we are operating in accordance with Government guidance and legislation. We are 'good to Go'.
  • Don't worry. We understand that this situation is new to us all. If we have to close, or you are unable to travel due to Covid, we will either transfer your booking to a future stay or refund your deposit. You will not lose it.
