Make the most of your stay and enjoy a Hawkwalk or bird of prey experience. Just a 10 minute drive to the meeting point. A great way to spend time here, taking in Dales scenery, walking, meeting David and Kieren and learning about the birds. Currently taking bookings for Tuesdays, Thursday and Sundays.

An easy 15 minute drive from us, you wll find The Churchmouse at Barbon. This place has been transformed from the traditional village store, but still has its 'hub of the village' charm. You will be made very welcome by the owners and team, who prepare home made soups, cakes and more. They hold a Friday evening bistro (booking required) and on a sunny day, there's nothing better than sitting on their patio looking out over the fields, enjoying the food, drink and birdsong. It's all served up with a friendly face too. We'll give you directions and you may want to incorporate your stop here with a longer journey over to Dent and other villages of Cumbria.
